School History

Guru Nanak Khalsa Shahidi High School was founded in memory of Nankana Sahib Saka which happened on 20 February 1921 at the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji (Nankana Sahib, now in Pakistan) 86 people sacrificed their lives to free the Gurudwara Nankana Sahib from the clutches of Mahant Narain Das. This institution started working in 1943 at Kutia Baba Chohan Das, chak no. R.B. 35 at Nizampur Deva Singh Wala, Nizampur Moola Singh wala now in Pakistan. After partition, this institution was re-established again in 1950.

Since 1950, it is running under grant in aid/ Government aided (Delhi patron 1967). Under grant in aid, the total no. of sanctioned posts are 10.
